Fed-up with the rotten state of freelance journalism and writing? Want some other friendly freelancers to discuss it with? Feel like getting away from it all for a bit to the countryside and hang out in a hammock or play croquet/football while exchanging ideas and moans? Then, come to our Freelance Journalists’ Retreat in Norfolk on Saturday 23rd August!
Held at our home in a village near Downham Market, it will include speakers and discussion sessions on AI in the industry and How to pivot and adapt in the current challenging environment, refreshments and lunch. Plus, there will be a chance simply to chat to others and chill out in attractive surroundings. The day’s schedule will run from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.
There are 10 spaces available, but don’t worry, if there is interest we will announce other dates in the coming months.
The day will finish with an evening meal out at our village pub, then (weather permitting) marshmallows around the fire pit.
We recently launched on Airbnb and so also have limited accommodation available too for the Friday and Saturday nights – two double rooms and a forthcoming glamping tent/plus you are welcome to camp in our field if you wish.
It’s £35 for the day (including lunch but not the village pub meal) and then if you want to stay with us, accommodation is £65 per room per night, which can be booked through Airbnb, which we can send you the details for.
Book your place now! Contact us below and we will be in touch.
