Write Your Book! Oct 2025 and Jan 2026
It’s often said that there’s a book in everyone. Well, do you think there is a book in you? Have you always wanted to write one? If you live in the Downham Market or King’s Lynn area, you are in luck.
My course Write Your Book, covering every aspect of how to write a book – whether a non-fiction title or novel – started in October 2025. It includes lessons on how to plan your novel or non-fiction title, write and edit it and prepare it for publication, as well as practical exercises and feedback on your writing.
Write Your Book King’s Lynn launches on Wed 12 November 2025 at The Workshop, 38 Conduit Street, Vancouver Quarter, King’s Lynn.

This course is also open for bookings in the New Year. Do please get in touch if you would like to sign up. The courses are £250 for 8 weekly 2 hour sessions.

Creative Writing Classes – Oct 2025
In addition, I am also running a Creative Writing evening course in Shouldham, starting on Monday 27th October and running until Monday 15th December. This is £200 for 8 weekly 2 hour sessions. Contact me for more details.
About me
A former Financial Times Group journalist, I am the author of three books – two non-fiction and a crime novel – and have also written for MSN.co.uk, MoneyWeek, Mirror Online and Yahoo! I have an English degree from Newnham College, Cambridge, where I studied Shakespeare with Professor Germaine Greer and have also studied crime fiction writing at City University and as a private pupil with crime writer Lesley Grant-Adamson. I was also a part-time senior lecturer in business writing at London Metropolitan University for three years, teaching on the BA Journalism and Public Relations degree courses. Most recently, I was acting Director of Communications at Newnham College, Cambridge.

Not in the West Norfolk area but interested in attending a writing course or workshop? I can travel further afield in Norfolk and to Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire and plan a workshop soon in Hertford. Do get in touch if this interests you.
